The Ifugao Native House and Its Evolution
The former Secretary of Tourism, Madam Mina Gabor described the Ifugao native
house as remarkable but fast vanishing. It is one of the most ingenious and
nearly perfect architectural worksmanship ever devised by man. The uniqueness
of it is that, it is nail-less, can be dismantled, transferred and put up again
in another place, all together in one day without damage of any part. Inspired,
she included in her program the preservation of all existing Ifugao native houses
